Trump's Granddaughter Seeks Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Before Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for major competition

The rising star has considerable online audience

The young golfer will have plenty of prominent supporters when she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to Donald Trump, obtained a tournament invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, owns multiple courses worldwide and often matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"My grandpa essentially advised me to go out there and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with world affairs, so he's somewhat preoccupied."

Being non-professional, Kai has competed in just three tournaments this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from golf legend, romantically involved with her mother.

"He represents the best player in the world," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior human being. He suggested me to go out there, relax, and go with the flow."

The golfer will compete against some of top competitors in professional golf at the competition, including second-ranked Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion Lilia Vu.

The LPGA stated that her participation helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially with youth audiences.

Kai maintains substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive clothing and lifestyle label.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
