The Gory Animated Movie Ending That Stays With Fans
Among all the adult-oriented animated films I have personally viewed, nothing has remained with me as much as the dread-soaked conclusion of the graphically gory and deeply subversive film from 2022 Unicorn Wars.
Back in the year 2015, this Spain-based filmmaker developed a dark, bleak , often savage universe with some tiny , forlorn glimmers of hope.
Although The Unicorn Wars feels like it came from a desire to expand animation further, the filmmaker explained that it was more an effort to express a widespread, multicultural theme about “the common origin of each battle.”
That idea is expressed through a group of brightly hued teddy bears , obviously modeled after a popular series of lovable characters.
Maturing in a culture centered on aggression and the war machine, numerous these creatures are consumed by exterminating unicorns, due to a holy book that claims the bears they previously were kings of the woods, before the unicorns forced them out.

Unicorn Wars commences feeling a bit like one of the more playful movies from a legendary animator, that discover a naughty glee in allowing animated figures curse, shoot each other, or sex each other up.
Then it turns into more akin to a more grim film by that same director, featuring progressively graphic violence , a noticeable link to the real tragedy of conflict.
In the finale, it becomes a complete theatrical horror carnage.
