Research presented at a latest travel industry convention indicated that the proportion of Britons booking a trip in the past year has almost reached pre-pandemic rates.

About eighty-seven percent of participants studied took a holiday either at home or abroad recently.

An ever higher percentage of people mentioned a break as the top discretionary spend, ranking above entertainment, electronics, and other pastimes, even during economic uncertainty.

AI Adoption Doubles

A poll carried out in July found that significantly more individuals are using AI for holiday planning than a year ago.

The challenges with overcrowding in Spain and other places were blamed on "unlicensed tourism" instead of established brands.

This included appeals for authorities to regulate instances where property managers do not have a required authorization, health and safety certificate, or correct financial reporting.

If owners are identified to lack the right certificates and official paperwork, fines are imposed. Failure to comply results in serious penalties. Every illegal rentals will be eliminated rapidly.

The message was evident: Owners should be accountable, become licensed, and get it done.
